We made a few updates to the site, and we want to make sure you know exactly how to get our beef from the farm to your freezer. There are three easy ways.
Orders over $200: free delivery in Fayette County
If your order comes to more than $200 and you’re in Fayette County, we’ll deliver it to you at no charge. Place your order on the website, and we’ll take it from there. It’s the easiest way to stock up on steaks, roasts, ground beef and more without leaving the house.
Orders under $200: easy pickup at Ginger Petroleum
For smaller orders, pick up at the Ginger Petroleum office at 5300 State Hwy 71, La Grange, TX 78945. It sits right off Highway 71, close to La Grange and simple to get to. You’re not driving out to the farm or hunting down a back road.
Just step into the lobby inside Ginger Petroleum and look for the Sumer Ville Farms freezer, the one with "Take Home Premium Locally Grown Black Angus Steaks!" across the front. That’s where you’ll pick up your order. The office is open weekdays until 5:00 p.m., so you can swing by after work or on your lunch break.

Some people like to see what they’re buying. If that’s you, stop by The Market at 116 W. North Main in Flatonia. Our freezer case is stocked with fresh, premium 100% Black Angus beef, so you can look over the cuts and choose exactly what you want. You’ll find favorites like filet, top sirloin, chuck eye, skirt steak, flank steak, hanger steak and bavette, along with tenderized round, ground beef and hamburger patties.
Beef raised right here in Fayette County
Our cattle come from Hillhouse Angus, a Fayette County operation run by Steve Hillhouse. Our beef is grass fed and grain finished in La Grange, with no hormones or growth products ever used, and with sustainable, humane farming practices. When you buy from Sumer Ville Farms, you’re buying beef raised in your own backyard, from people you can talk to.
